Safety precautions and lab techniques

The work with human cells requires specific conditions in the facilities where such work is conducted. On the stage of our ART lab construction all the requirements to ideal microclimate were met. Besides, in 2008 the ventilation system was completely replaced by the modern one. In case of electricity interruption, all the ART lab equipment is automatically connected to the electrical reserved line and by that the risk of equipment stoppage is minimized.

The major value of IVF Center is a high level of embryo lab techniques, manufactured by the world leaders of equipment production, which enables to perform not only “routine” IVF operation, but highly technological procedures as ICSI, assisted hatching, ТЕZА, МЕZА. There is also a cryopreservation sperm bank, where sperm is kept during isolation period. During this period it is triply investigated for such infections as HIV, syphilis, Hepatitis В and С. There is a preimplantation diagnostic lab in the unit too, where cytogenetic embryos investigation is conducted on the stage prior to embryo transfer into the uterus cavity. It is done to identify such chromosome diseases as mucoviszidose, the Down’s syndrome, sex related diseases.
